Autobiography

Let me introduce myself.

My name is Umid. My surname is Rasulov. I was born on April 17, 1983 in Samarkand.

My father is a doctor. He works at a hospital. My mother is a teacher. She works at a school. There are 5 people in the family. I have an elder brother and a younger sister. My elder brother is a student. He studies at the Samarkand State University at the Law Department. He is 4th year student. My younger sister is a pupil.

She studies at a lyceum. She is in the 10th form. She always does well at school and she is interested in learning foreign languages. She is a member of English – Speaking Club aiming at giving a deeper knowledge of the subject and developing communication skills.

In 1990 I went to school number 10 and finished it in 2000. Then I entered Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages that year. Now I am a student of Roman – German philology faculty and I’m a second year student.

I specialize in the humanities. The course I take includes Uzbek, Uzbek Literature, Social Sciences and two foreign languages-French and English. I have always liked social sciences and foreign languages. For me, choosing a career is a matter of future prestige and wealth. In my opinion, a job should be interesting and socially important. I am very well aware of that fact that my interest in the subject is excellent. I hope my institute education will form a basis for my future occupation. I think to become a teacher is my right final choice.
